Since winter started all we have been seeing is the seventies look coming back with a bang. this was a timeless decade of nothing but colourful bright fashion. Tight fitting wide leg trousers, bellbottoms , a-line skirts, jumpsuits, knit wear and the knee length boots.
This look is mostly worn with big chunky coats, my absolute fav.
First runner up is on our list, the A-line skirt. this skirt has comes in two hem lines, a thin hemline or a high hemline. Depending on your body shape, if you’re short and voluptuous its best you wear the thin hem line, this will suit your body preferably with tucked lace or silk shirt.
Second runner up, the bellbottom. every year, every season this trousers have managed to stay timeless season after season. These trousers are perfect for tall women, the bellbottom gives more definition to the slim figured body. If you’ure short preferably get the ankle length bellbottoms this will give your body the illusion of being slightly tall and slim. The bellbottoms hug the waist giving your bum a natural bum lift these trousers a best worn with vests, tailor fitted shirts and pullovers.
Third runner up, the wide leg trousers, its elegant and classy. These trousers are good for lengthening, they give the illusion of making you look like you have these beautiful long legs and a small waist. These are perfect for any occasion especially with a colourful detailed buckle belt to complete this elegant look, toping it of with painted heels.
Fourth runner up is the knit wear, my all time fav. I can wear knit wear from January till December, i think i’m gonna cry i love knit wear. I’m obsessed with knit, maybe cause i was raised by my grandmother and she clothed us in nothing but stuff she knitted for us growing up as kids.
I love pairing my knit wear with pencil skirt, or tailored fitted pants, this doesn’t clutter the your outfit, its easy on the eye, its classy, elegant, sexy and it makes an amazing silhouette, outlining every detail in body shape. Make sure to tuck in the front of the knit wear only and leave the rest hanging loose with a tailored fitted trouser. With a pencil skirt make sure the knit wear sits on the waist to outline your beautifully shaped waistline. These outfits rock with a pair of high heels in any colour preferably peep toe pumps.
Last, but no least the jumpsuit. This is one delicate outfit that needs you to pay close attention to the detail, the fabric and length. For petite people this look is fierce, its hot and elegant. If you have hips and an ass this look tends to make you feel uncomfortable. the suit tends to pull up as you walk and down and it shifts in between your thighs making it ride up your behind. Therefore in this instance rather get boyish jumpsuits these are loose and flowy, they have elastic on the waistline and on the ankles, they help sculpt your body shape.
All these looks were always paired with big chunky fitting coats in the 70’s and with matching knee length boots, short heel with a pointed toe. this look is still present to this day, have fun this winter in beautiful clothes.
This is the perfect accessory that completes an outfit.. I can’t picture myself on a daily without any bracelets i have an entire collection.
Bracelets have a significant role they play when you put your ensemble together daily, they are the cherry on top they complete the statement.
They make ones outfit stand out and look fashionbly sophisticated. The detail they bring out in an outfit is remarkable. That extra detail that makes it chunky gives your ensemble presentation. It can be worn from day to evening.
Some bracelets are for a specific occasion or a beneficial cause, you may see some people wearing colourful bracelets during a specific season, month or day. These are usually to promote a specific message.
The bracelets don’t have to be chunky, too colourful, too shiny, they need to be subtle but also at the same time they need to speak for themselves over dark colour clothing.

From this fashion lover, right here HAVE A FASHIONABLE WEEKEND.
Looking good and feeling good doesn’t mean just wearing clothes only….or does it. I love feeling good in every way not just in my favourite clothes, but in my best lingerie as well.
Feeling sexy doesn’t mean wearing the best fashionable ensemble. Before i put my ensemble of what i want to wear for the day, my preparation starts with my sexy lingerie which helps me plan my outfit better. Yes, matching bra and panties that is, ladies.
It depends on the mood that i wake up in, which will determine what kind of lingerie i’ll be wearing that day. If its a chilly day i love waking up and wearing cotton lingerie, this prepares me for the chilly weather, but it also helps me to be creative in my outfit for the day. Matching bum shorts and bra would be my option for a chilly day. They make a good fit to be worn with a boyfriend jeans, boyfriend blazer, crop top accompanied by sneakers.
If its a hot day, a beautiful corset lingerie, of course that lifts the busts more. This allows you to wear those tight fitting dresses and make you feel like you’re walking on a ramp all day long.
Ladies, if you’re going to wear a tight dress and light in colour, please under no circumstances wear a full panty that has a lot of prints going on and the bra too. White dresses, all white dresses please wear a beautiful seamless tong or seamless panties preferably black. There’s nothing like a beautiful women looking spectacular in her fashionable wear, then being robbed of her moment because of the in correct lingerie…nope not in my zone you don’t.
And you wonder why you went out last night, looking smoking hot and no women or men hit on you? Girl you need to check yourself before you wreck yourself. If you’re going to wear dark colour clothing its ok to go crazy with your lingerie, wear a black bra with orange panties its okay its only for your eyes only..hehe!
We have certainly evolved when it comes to lingerie, its not only an under garment now, we wear our lingerie like tops now. Its become an extension of our fashion outfits. Here’s a few ideas on how one can copy this look, please be mindful that it’s not going to suit everybody, body type or skin tone.
My opinion is be inspired from how you look on the inside from your lingerie right through to your fashionable ensemble. Have you ever noticed a woman in sexy lingerie and how she walks when she’s wearing that lingerie? Well take note ,its not just her ensemble but she knows that her secret is boosted from the lingerie which carries through to her outfit that makes it a smashing hit in the office.. hence all the guys hitting on her everyday, check!!
Then look at a woman who is wearing “tight everything”. They walk slow, wear fatigue on their faces cause the lingerie is too tight, they look nervous, uncomfortable, they are worried if people can see their under wear or is the bra strap sticking out on the side of their clothes. This has nothing to do with having a great body, its the lingerie you wear it tells us a bit about yourself and the clothes you like.
For the life of me, ladies lets stop wearing a strap-bra with boob tube dresses, open back dresses, halter necks and crop tops. Lets invest in strapless bra’s, lets say it makes sense and it looks neater..thank you Kim.
When putting your fashionable outfit from now on think about the lingerie it will match with, which will make you noticeable in your walk and your ensemble as well, try it and see how many hello’s you collect in a day or evening.
I spent the whole evening writing about this article on lingerie and now its gone, i saved it as a draft somehow it disappeared.
To my followers and likers i’m sorry today’s article was going to move you..
Our faces are the most delicate part of our bodies, that’s why it’s very essential for one to take care of your face and skin. Well some people are blessed with good genes, so for those that are not blessed with such imperial qualities then heres tips on how we can stay flawless in this winter.
It’s very imperative that one looks after their skin in winter, our faces are faced with harsh winds daily, as soon as we step out of the house. As we get older are skins are no longer smooth or as tight as it once was. You notice from time to time that the fat that was around the beautiful plumply cheeks disappears, your lips start to thin out, your eyes loosen into your cheeks.
Wear less make up in winter, this helps with your skin to breathe and prevents it from ageing so quickly.
Here’s 5 tips before applying Make-up.
1. Before applying and buying that make up , read the label know what ingredients are in the products.
2. Check if the product has SPF, this is not negotiable, its for your skin.
3. Check what kind of oils it contains.
4. What kind of fruits do they use, if it does contain any fruit ingredients.
5. Dermatologically tested (this is not a guarantee that it may not be harsh to your skin)
My tricks before applying make up and having that sun radiant skin glow, this is how its done. Wash your face with cold water daily before applying make and also taking it off use cold water.
Prepare milk and almond nuts over-night, then after washing your face with cold water use this mixture to wash your face before applying makeup and in the evening before going to bed.
Apply your preferred moisturiser before applying your make-up, this helps to keep your skin looking healthy and young. Some moisturisers can cause your skin to become more oily and shiny. Make sure that the you choose the right moisturiser for your skin type and that its labeled with SPF to protect you from the sun, heres a few that are affordable and are great on the skin.
The brushes are good preferably you know which ones to use when applying your foundation, after few coats the brush tends to leave un-even marks on the face and makes the face un-even.
The make-up sponge, the first coat is always the best, then the second coat tends to remove the first coat and makes it look untidy and un-even.
The best method i would use is your finger tips, this helps applying the make up perfectly. After a few applications one can wipe their hands and re apply again to avoid applying layers and layers of coats with the same hand.
Fruits and vegetables I love using when i’m not wearing make up to keep my skin radiant and healthy are below. These are good for preparing facial masks to cleanse the face and keep the skin looking younger and ever glowing.
